Clara, 17, and her mother Dagmar have been living in the Berlin underground for years. Dagmar, a wanted former terrorist, finances their lives through robberies. After a botched robbery, the two have to flee. They find refuge in the home of Clara's foster mother Samira, with whom both Dagmar and Clara have a close relationship.
